Recently honored in 2006 by Forbes Autos as 2006's "new car that best lived up to the hype", Tesla Motors' Roadster is changing the way the world looks at electric cars. This all-electric automobile is quick (zero to sixty in four seconds), gets the equivalent of 135 miles per gallon and can drive up to 250 miles on a single charge. The price tag is a bit steep - just under $100,000 without any of the cool options, and you'll have to wait until 2008 to get one as they've already sold out their 2007 inventory.
