The 2008 Yukon XL 2WD is a 4-door, up to 9-passenger sport-utility, available in 8 trims, ranging from the SLE-1 1/2 Ton to the SLT-2 3/4 Ton.
Upon introduction, the SLE-1 1/2 Ton is equipped with a standard 5.3-liter, V8, 320-horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 20-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The SLT-2 3/4 Ton is equipped with a standard 6.0-liter, V8, 352-horsepower engine that achieves 12-mpg in the city and 17-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
The 2008 Yukon XL 2WD is a carryover from 2007.
