The 2008 Dakota Extended Cab 4X4 is a 4-door, up to 5-passenger compact pickup, available in 6 trims, ranging from the ST to the LARAMIE.
Upon introduction, the ST is equipped with a standard 3.7-liter, V6, 210-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The LARAMIE is equipped with a standard 4.7-liter, V8, 302-horsepower, flexible fuel engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
The 2008 Dakota Extended Cab 4X4 is freshened for 2008.
